'Chuck' News: Adam Baldwin Joins 'Law and Order,' Josh Schwartz Creates a Monster

The people associated with Chuck didn't just retire after their show ended last winter. Instead, they have kept busy. Zachary Levi (Chuck) has some part to play in the upcoming Thor 2 movie, and Yvonne Strahovski (Sarah) will recur on Dexter this season. What about the others? Keep reading to find out some future activities for Adam Baldwin and Chuck co-creator Josh Schwartz.

Adam Baldwin on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit

Adam Baldwin just fits in well when it comes to law enforcement. Baldwin went from playing NSA agent John Casey to portraying a rogue cop on Castle, and now he will appear as another police officer on Law & Order: SVU. As first reported by TVGuide.com, Adam Baldwin will appear in the recurring role of Captain Steven Harris for the show's 14th season.

Captain Harris will direct the Special Victims Unit in the absence of Captain Donald Cragen (Dann Florek), who is suspected of murdering a prostitute and is on trial for murder. Baldwin's character will appear in at least the first three episodes of season 14.

Of course, this probably will not be much fun for Captain Steven Harris. After all, the officers underneath him are not likely to appreciate orders from an interim captain.

Josh Schwartz Moves on to Monsters

Chuck co-creator Josh Schwartz has just sold a new drama pilot to The CW. Working with Stephanie Savage (Schwartz's partner-in-crime on Gossip Girl), the new show is called Copeland Prep. Deadline.com reports that this will be the story of a high-end prep school that is competitive enough to turn its students into monsters.

That's literal monsters, by the way. Actual beasts will then spread throughout the school and the town.

Len Goldstein, Nicky Weinstock and Bret Easton Ellis (who wrote the story of Copeland Prep) will also executive produce. Catherine Hardwicke (the director of the first Twilight movie) will serve as an executive consultant for the series.

There is no word yet when the monsters might actually make it to The CW.

Adam on Law & Order, that is something I really, really wanna watch.

Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 Will Be Released in 3D

Wow, Zach looks so different as a blonde. I never saw the first Thor movie, but I'll have to see Thor 2, since Zach is in it. I saw Adam's first two appearances on SVU, and he didn't have much to do on there. But I'm tired of SVU (14 years!), so I skipped his final appearance.

Also, I noticed that Sarah Lancaster doesn't have anything lined up since Chuck ended. Is she taking a break to be with her son?
