Yea she sort of was, I just have a hard time seeing her as a big bad cause in my opinion she was just some crazy obsessive chick who liked to burn houses down, not someone who could match wits with Dexter like Trinity or The Ice Truck Killer. Season 2 in general sort of lacked that 'Big Bad." Hopefully Yvonne's character, if bad, is one who actually has substance and not some stalker woman like Lila

Yeah, exactly! I think most people don't consider Lila a "big bad." I want Hannah to be like Trinity:D

BTW, I love the way they are keeping Yvonne's role so "secret," yet they are also revealing things. They're kind of letting the fans do detective work to try to figure things out. All of the signs are pointing to BIG BAD though.

- Hannah role in episode 4 is still quite small, a little more than in 3, but not much,
- Hannah story will be getting more focus from episode 5 on,
- episode 5 also starts what he calls Act 2 of this season,
- the christmas/snow setting scene with Hannah that we saw in previews will be in episode 6.

Thanks for posting this. So I was right about her role not getting bigger until episode 5, but wrong about the timing of the Christmas scene. So that could mean the final 7 episodes take place over one week? That's no biggie (Each season of 24 took place in one day) but that changes a lot of things.

From all of his clues, Hannah could be revealed as the big bad as early as episode 5 or 6. That would be spectacular. Fingers crossed!

Not necessarily on christmas. Dex could take Hannah to some mall, that already had decorations ready, but the actual timing could still be few weeks before christmas. Malls are ready for christmas and in full christmas mood well before actual holidays.

I also think the scene between Dex and Harry is much earlier that you thought, when they discuss Hannah, episode 5/6 most likely.

And I didn't want that scene to be at the end of the season, since we see Hannah in all sweet mode toward Dexter, so if it would be so late it would mean she is either still enigma to Dexter or she is actually Rita 2.0....aka most of the season Hannah would be stuck in the "girlfriend role" and not much more. With it being earlier, we could go into dark mode with her character much, much sooner. And that will allow Yvonne to spread her acting wings.

Also that scene still can be that he try to attack her, but maybe Hannah will show her paw toward Dexter in some way.

He just confirmed that episode does not take place on Christmas, and there is just a year-long display up. I am soooo glad I was wrong about the timing of the episode. As you said, now Hannah can be revealed as a villain much earlier in the season. Combine that with the quote from Yvonne about her character's secrets are revealed really quickly, that they're doing something that hasn't been done before, and Michael comparing her to Trinity and it's looking almost certain that she is the BIG BAD. And it does seem like the scene with Harry will likely be episode 5/6.

If there's one thing that watching TV has taught me over the years, it's that nothing is ever certain. You never know what the writers are planning until it happens.

I wonder if Dexter and Hannah will even have a romantic relationship at all. Maybe they were trying to throw people off the scent by saying "things heat up." This is a hard one to figure out. Also, since people are expecting a romance, it would be a great twist if they don't get together that way at all.

Haha, well that's true. But then again, Dexter's not always into that kind of thing. Maybe Hannah isn't either. Let's just say that iff there isn't a love scene, there will be some verrrry disappointed people out there.

Right! I've said it lots of time but I want both a final duel, but also that aspect, that they're both trying to be one step infront of the other person.

This is Dexter after all, I want Dexter to be twisted and when Yvonne joins this show I want her too to be a seriously twisted woman, of course I'd like to see her winning if it comes to a final duel, but I know that that wont happen if it happens.

A: Siemon - Absolutely! It feels like Episode 5 is the beginning of Act 2, and there's definitely some interesting story developments and new characters down the road.

Q: Was just wondering though when Hanna will start playing a more prominent role. From your description, it doesn't sound like she's really part of the focus in episode 4, just wondering if this changes by episode 5 maybe?

A: Floppypig (love your handle - Lol!) - We get a little more screen time with Hanna in Episode 4, but her character begins to really kick into gear in 5 . And yes, that Yvonne is one pretty gal for sure!
