Dexter Season 7 Spoilers

Yeah, she does look like she's planning something. This can't be said enough, but Yvonne is amazing with the facial expressions. I wonder how she does it!

It seems like the plot is most likely going to go in one of two different directions:

A. Michael C. Hall basically compared Hannah to John Lithgow's Trinity. If she is similar to him, then Dexter will only "get close" to Hannah because he plans to kill her later on. Hannah will also likely have her sights set on killing Dexter.

B. Dexter and Hannah become a team and start killing together.

I think option A is more likely and would be far more interesting.

Me too! Hopefully, Deb will stop Dexter from killing Hannah. That would make sense, given the plot so far.

Any other show I wouldn't want her being targeted by a man like Dexter since she's the reason I even started to watch Dexter again. It's Yvonne for god sake , but well it is Dexter and hopefully she will match his mental disorder!

Someone on imdb posted this prediction about Hannah:

"This is no revelation but I would guess she is definitly a very particular kind of serial killer. Like the Therapist in season 1 she does not dirty her own hands but manipulates men into killing for her (providing she can find some who would and sense an inclination within them to do it).

If this turns out to be the case I think it would be fitting. She is the ying to Deb's Yang. A love interest who tries to get Dexter to kill with Deb being a sorta-love interest who tries to keep him from killing.

If this turns out to be true I think it would make for a fun dynamic."

Dexter specifically picks his targets and only kills certain types of people, so would he really let Hannah manipulate him into killing someone? However, if something like this happened, this storyline would end with Hannah turning Dexter in and that would be interesting.

On the Showtime website they have a different version of the still of Yvonne and Michael C. Hall from the episode Swim Deep. I haven't seen it anywhere else. Her hair looks more like it did in the set pic than it does in the other still, like her hair has been blowing in the wind.

In the next episode of Dexter: Season 7 titled 'Buck the System,' former Chuck beauty and CIA secret agent Yvonne Strahovski joins the cast as someone Dexter might be able to relate to.
In the following clip you will get to meet Yvonne as Hannah McKay, the accomplice of convicted killer Wayne Randal that threw himself in front of a truck in the previous episode. Dexter is tasked to take a DNA sample from her mouth and, in the process, his coolness under pressure breaks for a moment. After he quickly gets his act back together, Dexter suggests they remain on a last-name basis only.

On one hand you could say McKay is sending out sexual vibes to Dexter, especially when she opens her mouth for the swab. On the other hand, Dexter may have caught a tinge of deja vu and sensed her dark passenger, one we already know she has given her connection to Randal. Or, Dexter sensed McKay sensing his dark passenger and it scared him. Either way, Deb may have some competition for Dexter's time and rehab in the upcoming episodes.

'Buck the System' premieres this upcoming Sunday at 9/8c on Showtime."

"What is also curious is seeing Dexter get nervous for whatever reason and drop his Q-tip while trying to get a DNA swab of her cheek. Is this because he already has a little bit of a crush on her? We’re a little skeptical, if for no other reason than that Dexter is not the sort of person to really start crushing on anyone. Instead, he’s the sort of person to only act this way if the person triggers some sort of a memory. We don’t know just what it is about Hannah that is so striking, but we are sure that we will find out soon."

I wanted to discuss the behind the scenes Dexter video which shows a ton of Yvonne footage. Ricciricci posted this video:

There are a couple of major spoilers in the video though.

1. Dexter states that at least one of the victims could not have been killed by Wayne Randall, so it was likely Hannah.
2. In one clip, Dexter takes Hannah out on a date, but he is clearly sneaking up on her from behind like he is attacking her.
3. Hannah is crying in one of the clips. So maybe she shows some remorse? Or is she just a sociopath who cries when she wants to get away with something.
4. I think she is under arrest at one point (a cop is walking her into the police station).

Honestly, these clips have me more excited than ever for Yvonne's upcoming appearances. She showed some amazing acting in just these short clips. Thank you Scott Buck for asking Yvonne to be on the show. I think this will be a career making role for her. She deserves it!

I'm really curious abut 2 and 3, it looked like he would attack her indeed and it may be in a very late episode but it could also be just a hug, just a weird way of approaching The third is interesting, I would like to say it would be remorse since it's Yvonne and of course shes' the reason I watch the show and would want her to be likeable and all, but for this role I like i've said before really want her to be dislikable, and being a sociopath that pretty much controls a person with acting like crying really make a person unlikable in my eyes.

But yeah, just wow, a few seconds from a few scens just gave us yet another proof about how incredible breahttaking her acting skills are. And I really hope that even though her carear is already going up, but that it will make her expand her fanbase and give her an even bigger push after her time is over in this show.

I am currently watching season 1, but he doesn't seem like the kind of person who would hug someone, especially from behind. His facial expressions are dark and sinister here.

Also, it DEFINITELY is a later episode, because the clip they showed clearly takes place during Christmas. The season finale takes place on New Years eve. So this is likely a really late episode. It could even be one of her last scenes with Dexter getting ready to kill her.

I have my fingers crossed that Dexter winds up sparing Hannah's life for Debra's sake (and ours!)

Yeah, I know. If I read one more "We want Debster!!!" post, I might never go back.

I don't think it's so bad. We're Yvonne fans so of course we want her to have as much screentime etc, but she's going into a show that's been on for years and of course the old fans may ship Deb and Dexter, and don't want her to get Hannah to get inbetwen them, even though they may need to wait and see it actually happen first.

Maybe just me tho that is taking it easy though, lol.

Not by blood, but it's still super creepy for sure, I didn't see season 6 but it was like about her urges of sleeping with Dexter.
I guess people ship them because of the actors behind the characters more then the whole siblings possible screwing, lol.

From what I know, which, admittedly, is not much given that I've just started watching the show now, Dexter and Debra are adoptive siblings. That, to me, makes the shipping of them more than a little creepy, but people can be strange, I guess.

What annoys me, though, is how these people have seemingly already written off Hannah as someone to hate without even giving her a chance, without giving Yvonne a chance. I mean, yes, I know the whole "not liking a character because they get between your ship" thing, we did the same thing with Chuck and Sarah. But I, at least, gave Shaw a chance to see what they were going to do with him before I decided I didn't like him.

True, true. People just tend to be a bit crazy about their favorite pairings, characters and shows, since people take it to their heart. But let's have Yvonne prove them wrong and they all get big fans of her and the attitude will change on that site to our better.
