Andy Brewster is about to embark on the road trip of a lifetime, and who better to accompany him than his overbearing mother Joyce. After deciding to start his adventure with a quick visit at mom's, Andy is guilted into bringing her along for the ride. Across 3,000 miles of ever-changing landscape, he is constantly aggravated by her antics, but over time he comes to realize that their lives have more in common than he originally thought. His mother's advice might end up being exactly what he needs.

Yvonne’s Character: Jessica, Andy’s old high school sweetheart.

Interesting Trivia: The movie was originally called My Mother’s Curse.

Yvonne dyed her hair brunette for the role.

Yvonne and her onscreen husband, played by Colin Hanks both appeared on Dexter. Yvonne in Seasons 7&8 and Colin in Season 6.

Never thought I'd be seeing a Streisand movie in theaters but I guess I will be Darn it Yvonne Don't care much for Streisand or Rogen outside of Knocked Up, but Yvonne on the big screen means my ticket is automatically bought

It's a bit disappointing that Yvonne's not in the trailer, but it's not too surprising since the movie is mainly about the mother and son and Yvonne is just a smaller part of the movie. Maybe at some point we'll get a clip or a still with her in it though.

The release date for The Guilt Trip has changed yet again. However, unlike the first two times the release date changed this time the date moved up. Instead of being released on Christmas, the movie will now be released on December 19.

The Guilt Trip seems to have a rating now. According to the official site, the movie will be rated PG-13 for language and some risque material.

It looks like stuff is starting to get released for this movie. Paramount has just posted an official little TV spot promo. It features additional content that wasn't in the trailer, but still no Yvonne.
