He's my favorite character behind Deb and Dexter, but I don't think the actor behind him is that good, but the character is indeed awesome.

I just don't see how your opinions can be so different from mine. Batista is probably the closest thing Dexter has to a best friend and I just love how much soul Batista has. I remember in season 6 when Travis kidnapped him. I was begging for him not to die. As for Quinn (Desmond Harringtion), I couldn't care less. I never liked him that much in the first place.

Said nothing bad about the character Batista though.
Screw Quinn, he was annoying as hell the latest season I watched too.

Yea, no one can like LaGuerta. She actually was warming up towards the end of season 5, but then suddenly she divorces Batista and becomes a total bitch towards Deb. LaGuerta has always been a selfish conniving bitch and I expect something awful to happen to her this season because she gets too close to finding out Dexter is the actual Bay Harbor Butcher.

So I've been thinking about Yvonne's two scenes, and the thing that has impressed me most is how she has held her own alongside Michael C. Hall. Most actresses would be really intimidated by working with him on this show, but Yvonne didn't seem nervous and really matched his level of intensity (her eyes in the swab scene were phenomenal). And it feels like she really belongs on the show, which is really impressive!

What happend bnetween them? Around where I watched they atleast was engaged and he was in a bar fight because of honoring her honor, lol.

She's been in the same scene as De Niro, this is no game.

What happened with Laguerta and Batista was she chose her job over him when she realized that they couldn't be together and she can be promoted.

I have a feeling Isaak might kill her just like he did to Lewis or whatever his name was. LaGuerta is going to get in the way of his revenge plot... if she does get killed. Dexter wouldn't kill her because it would be against Harry's Code.

What I'm wondering is who was Victor to Isaak? Lover, brother, or son?

The last part have been a hot topic in the Swedish forum. Most seem to think it's his brother.
I'm not sure what I think, it was clear that he ment more to him then a friend atleast.

While Yvonne's scene obviously tops it for me, I'll admit that Dexter's mocking was funny.
